Jose Luis Beristain Executive Chef
Jose Luis Beristain is originally from Tlaxcala, Mexico and moved to Jackson in 2005 when he was 15 years old. His introduction to the culinary world began as a young child, where his passion for food led him to pursue hands-on experiences through culinary education. As an adult, Luis fostered his talent working for Atelier Ortega and in the kitchen of Il Villaggio Osteria. Luis has been a part of the Fine Dining family for many years, working his way up to Executive Chef of Il Villaggio Osteria in 2018. Luis’ talent and creativity is evident in everything he does. It’s this outlet for creativity that inspires Luis, driving him to create inspired dishes that honor traditional Italian techniques and flavors.
