Serge Smith Executive Chef
Chef Serge Smith’s culinary career was fostered in the Italian program at the International Culinary Center in New York, where he studied the basic techniques of cooking, all based around Italian philosophy and methodology. After his time at the International Culinary Center, Serge continued his training at Alma Scuola Internazionale Di Cucina Italiana in Colorno, Italy, where he studied Italian cuisine, history and wine based on the methods and beliefs of Gualtiero Marchesi (known as the grandfather of Italian cuisine). With these experiences in his portfolio, Serge accepted a position working in Perugia, Italy for Michelin Starred Chef Marco Bistarelli. Before leading the culinary team at Osteria, Serge was Executive Chef of Silver Restaurant in Park City, UT. Serge leads with intention and creativity, serving one-of-a-kind culinary creations that are true to their Italian roots, while also thoughtfully-sourced, created and prepared.
